information, a sender transmits knowledge or data to one or more recipients.\nThe sender has information that should be new to the recipients.   <\/p>\n\n<p>If the information is successful, the recipient has the new knowledge.<\/p>\n\n<p>For example, the sales department presents new sales figures or a sales representative describes the situation on site.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"wie-werden-informationen-uebermittelt\"><strong>How is information transmitted?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p>Information can be transmitted in different ways.\nHere we compare a telephone conference with an e-mail.\nBoth methods are useful if the sender and recipient are not in the same place.    <\/p>\n\n<p>An important difference lies in the way the language is used:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The e-mail is <strong>written<\/strong>.\nThe content is transported by visible patterns<strong>(letters<\/strong>). <\/li><li>People <strong>speak<\/strong> in the conference call.\nThe utterances are transmitted with sounds<strong>(sound waves<\/strong>). <\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>This fundamental difference shows that writing generally lasts longer (&#8220;He who writes, stays.&#8221;) This durability makes it possible to communicate across temporal distances.  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>With an e-mail, the sender and recipient do not even have to be involved at the same time<strong>(asynchronous communication<\/strong>)<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><li>On the other hand, <strong>simultaneous participation <\/strong>is a prerequisite for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkyoo.net\/\">telephone conference<\/a><strong>(synchronous communication<\/strong>)<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"vorteil-der-telefonkonferenz-gleichzeitigkeit\"><strong>Advantage of the conference call: Simultaneity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>You are familiar with this simultaneity from face-to-face conversations and one-to-one telephone calls.\nOnce your information has reached the listener, the goal of conveying information has been achieved.   <\/p>\n\n<p>With simultaneous communication, you receive feedback from the listener more easily and directly. Even small acoustic signals, such as a short &#8220;Yes.&#8221;, &#8220;Mhm.&#8221; or &#8220;Aha!&#8221; are often enough. This way you can be sure that what you have said has been heard: success monitoring in real time.  <\/p>\n\n<p>This does not work with written communication such as e-mail.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"feedback-in-telefonkonferenzen-erlauben\"><strong>Allow feedback in conferences<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Allow spontaneous feedback from your participants.\nGive your audience explicit permission to ask questions and make comments. <\/p>\n\n<p>For example like this:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Please interrupt me directly, <br\/>if something is unclear to you or if you have any comments. <br\/>This helps me to incorporate your experience.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Make sure that the technical requirements are met: <strong>The subscribers are audible.<\/strong> Otherwise, use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkyoo.net\/en\/conference_call_webcontrol\/\">web control<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkyoo.net#tastaturkombinationen\">telephone keypad<\/a> to make the participants audible.<\/p>\n\n<p>At larger conferences, it is common for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkyoo.net\/en\/conference_call_manual\/\">the moderator <\/a>to mute the participants who are listening.\nThis avoids disturbing noises.\nHowever, you can also receive feedback at conferences with many participants.    <\/p>\n\n<p>If no questions are asked <em>,<\/em> ask your participants questions!<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Have you learned anything new?<\/p><p>Which topic were you particularly interested in?<\/p><p>Have you ever experienced something similar?<\/p><p>How could this information be applied in practice?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Even if you don&#8217;t ask exactly whether everyone has understood everything, you will get an answer.\nFor example, if the participants only mention minor points, you have not been able to emphasize the important points clearly enough.   <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"feedback-inseln-helfen-bei-grossen-telkos\"><strong>Feedback islands help with large telcos!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>A feedback island is a phase in the conference in which feedback is given.\nThis phase is introduced and ended by the moderator.\nOutside of the feedback islands, the moderator has sole attention.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a topic is completed, open the participants&#8217;
